1. Who MyChurch.Events Ltd Is

MyChurch.Events Ltd is a company incorporated in England and Wales (company number: 09188368), with a registered office at 24 EN3 5ND. We operate a digital marketplace at mychurch.events (the "Platform") that enables Christian and Gospel event organisers, churches, ministries and promoters to list events and sell tickets to attendees.

2. Scope of These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, whether as a visitor, a registered user, a ticket buyer, an event organiser, a ministry, a church or any other participant. These Terms apply alongside any additional terms that may apply to specific features or services, including the Merchant Agreement and Consumer Terms of Service.

By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

3. Eligibility to Use the Platform

You must be at least 18 years of age to register an account or purchase tickets. Users under 18 may browse public content with the supervision and consent of a parent or guardian. By registering, you confirm that you meet the applicable eligibility requirements.

MyChurch.Events reserves the right to refuse access to any person who does not meet these requirements or who has previously been suspended or banned from the Platform.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Platform, you must register an account. When registering, you must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must notify us immediately at legal@mychurch.events if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. MyChurch.Events is not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised use of your account where you have failed to take reasonable steps to protect your credentials.

5. User Responsibilities

All users of the Platform are responsible for ensuring that their use complies with applicable laws and these Terms. You must not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, and you must not act in a way that is harmful to other users, organisers, MyChurch.Events or third parties.

You agree to treat all other users, organisers, churches, ministries, artists and speakers with dignity and respect, in keeping with the Christian values that underpin this platform.

6. Marketplace Role of MyChurch.Events

MyChurch.Events operates as a marketplace platform. We provide technology, tools and infrastructure that enable event organisers to list events and sell tickets. Unless expressly stated otherwise, MyChurch.Events is not the organiser, promoter or operator of any event listed on the Platform by a third party.

The contract for the purchase of a ticket to a third-party event is formed directly between the ticket buyer and the event organiser. MyChurch.Events facilitates this transaction but is not a party to it.

7. Events Listed by Third-Party Organisers

Event organisers are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, legality, safety, delivery and refund handling of their events. MyChurch.Events does not verify every detail of every event listing and does not guarantee that events will take place as described.

If you have a dispute with an event organiser, you should contact the organiser directly. MyChurch.Events may assist in facilitating resolution where appropriate, but cannot guarantee outcomes.

8. Ticket Purchases

When you purchase a ticket through the Platform, you are entering into a contract with the event organiser, not with MyChurch.Events (except in cases where MyChurch.Events is the named organiser). Payment processing may be handled by a third-party payment provider such as [PAYMENT PROCESSOR NAME]. You must review the organiser's refund policy before completing your purchase.

Tickets may be delivered digitally via QR code or other electronic format. You are responsible for keeping your ticket safe and ensuring it is valid for entry to the event.

9. Event Changes, Postponements and Cancellations

Event organisers may change event details, postpone or cancel events. MyChurch.Events is not responsible for such changes. In the event of a cancellation, the organiser is responsible for issuing refunds in accordance with their stated refund policy and the Organiser Refund Policy Requirements.

MyChurch.Events may, at its discretion, assist buyers in obtaining refunds where an organiser fails to comply with their obligations, but makes no guarantee of doing so.

10. Fees and Service Charges

MyChurch.Events charges platform fees for ticket sales processed through the Platform. These fees are disclosed to organisers at the time of event setup and are set out in the Merchant Agreement. Buyer-facing fees, where applicable, will be displayed clearly at checkout.

All fees are in the currency displayed and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Platform only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the Platform in any way that could damage, disable, overburden or impair the Platform or interfere with any other user's enjoyment of it.

12. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

• List, promote or sell tickets to events that are fraudulent, misleading or non-Christian in nature contrary to the platform's purpose;
• Impersonate any church, ministry, artist, speaker or other individual or organisation;
• Engage in ticket touting, unauthorised resale or scalping;
• Harass, threaten, abuse or discriminate against any user;
• Use the Platform to distribute spam, malware or phishing content;
• Scrape, copy or harvest data from the Platform without written authorisation;
• Misuse attendee personal data for purposes unrelated to the events for which it was collected;
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

Breach of this section may result in immediate account suspension and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

13. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, software and materials on the Platform that belong to MyChurch.Events Ltd are protected by intellectual property law. You must not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from MyChurch.Events' intellectual property without express written permission.

Organisers retain ownership of event content they upload to the Platform but grant MyChurch.Events a non-exclusive licence to display, distribute and promote that content on the Platform and in associated marketing.

14. User-Generated Content

Users may submit content to the Platform, including event descriptions, images, messages and other materials ("User Content"). You are responsible for ensuring that your User Content does not infringe any third-party rights, does not breach these Terms or any applicable law, and is accurate and not misleading.

By submitting User Content, you grant MyChurch.Events a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display and promote that content in connection with the Platform.

15. Platform Moderation

MyChurch.Events reserves the right to review, remove or modify any content on the Platform that we reasonably believe violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. We may do so without prior notice.

Content moderation decisions are at MyChurch.Events' discretion. We are not obligated to moderate all content, and the presence of content on the Platform does not constitute our endorsement of it.

16. Account Suspension and Termination

MyChurch.Events may suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or where required by law. We will endeavour to notify you where possible and legally permissible.

You may close your account at any time by contacting legal@mychurch.events. Account closure does not affect any obligations arising before closure.

17. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. MyChurch.Events makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Platform's availability, accuracy, reliability or fitness for a particular purpose.

MyChurch.Events does not endorse, verify or guarantee the accuracy of event listings created by third-party organisers.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyChurch.Events shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data or loss of goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes MyChurch.Events' liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

19. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyChurch.Events Ltd, its directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your breach of these Terms.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.

21. Complaints and Contact Information

If you have a complaint about the Platform or any event, please contact us at legal@mychurch.events. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5 working days.

22. Changes to These Terms

MyChurch.Events may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or through the Platform. Continued use of the Platform following notification constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
